Artist, non-profit professional and wellness advocate, Michele Insley has been teaching various forms of group exercise for over 30 years. Michele discovered yoga while in art school. For many years, Yoga was her personal practice but as she uncovered its many benefits, Michele decided to become a Yoga teacher to share the teachings with all.
Michele is certified at the 500-hour level from Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. Over the years, she has studied and practiced various systems of yoga - Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin - elements from which find their way onto her classes. In addition, Michele has taken multiple master classes and workshops with Tias Little, Sarah Powers, Shiva Rae and Dharma Mittra. Her teaching style is compassionate and grounded. Michele uses creative sequencing to weave together the philosophy of yoga, proper alignment in the poses, present moment awareness and joyful lightheartedness.
